Originally from Colorado, Liz completed her Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science and Nutrition at the University of Northern Colorado in 2011. She worked in Healthcare Marketing for senior living and memory care facilities for 8 years before finally deciding to pursue being a physical therapist as a career change. Dr. Sampsell completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, TX in 2022.
Liz has worked in various outpatient clinics since then, with experience treating orthopedic, neurological, and vestibular conditions. She has a special affinity for working with those with chronic pain and incorporating pain neuroscience education into treatments. She is skilled in working with complex patients including those with vertigo or balance impairments, post-concussive syndrome, as well as cervical orthopedic conditions. She enjoys treating a varied orthopedic caseload and all diagnoses.

Liz chose to become a physical therapist to help people return to the activities that provide their lives with meaning and enrichment. She believes people's bodies have incredible capacities to heal and adapt to life's challenges, and that her role as a physical therapist is to essentially guide people's bodies through the process of healing themselves. She leads with compassion and hopes to empower her patients.
In her free time, Liz enjoys riding her bike, taking Krav Maga classes, taking dance classes, and adventuring with her dog on various jaunts around town.
